very good condition, works perfectly
with case, clip and windscreen
The Sony ECM-50 has served as a studio secret weapon for skilled engineers like Val Garay and Tchad Blake.

Val uses the mic in conjunction with a large diaphragm condenser to record acoustic guitar as well as a hi hat mic suspended above the kit. He used just this method to record all those great hits from James Taylor.

Tchad was known to record acoustic guitar with the mic as well, tucking it in the sound hole and filtering out the low end to avoid bleed. You've surely heard this mic in action on some of your favorite 90s rock.

Also works very well as a lavalier microphone :) It's omni so it's not as sensitive to direction as most lavs and the sound is rich and true.

Runs on an "N" size battery readily available online. Comes with the super cool old school hard case and clip.
